A Foreign Registered Lawyer in Japan and member of the Law Society of British Columbia, Mr. Oghigian returns to Canada after twenty years of private practice in Japan where he developed a unique expertise in contentious issues and disputes related to the Asia-Pacific market and practical experience advising foreign clients doing business in the region. He has acted in over 100 high profile ICC, JCAA and SIAC cases in Asia, Europe and North America. Additionally, his service as as a foreign service officer with the Department of External Affairs including as 1st Secretary at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo from 1986 to 1991 and his in-depth knowledge of corporate practice and regulatory policies across many Asian jurisdictions are aspects of his unique background offering 40 years’ experience to our clients.
