Guillaume is a member of the Quebec Bar since 2014 and practices in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. He is also pursuing doctoral studies in private international law at McGill University under the supervision of Professor Geneviève Saumier. He is particularly interested in questions of conflicts of laws, international jurisdiction and recognition of foreign judgments.

Guillaume holds a Master of Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Law from McGill University. His thesis in private international law won the award for best master’s thesis at the annual Quebec Law Professors’ Association contest. Guillaume also ranked top of his class in the Bachelor of Laws program at Université de Montréal.

In 2013-2014, he clerked for Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin at the Supreme Court of Canada.
