Mélissa joined the Woods team in 2018 after having completed her stage at the firm. Since beginning at the firm, she has worked in numerous litigation files in areas including telecommunications, construction, defamation, class actions and disputes between shareholders. In her various mandates, she has been called upon on to represent a variety of clients and interest, including both public and private companies, as well as their directors and shareholders, professionals in various domains, and individuals.
During her studies, Mélissa worked as a research assistant in real estate law and was involved in the Revue québécoise de droit international. During her undergraduate studies, her passion for the Japanese language and culture led her to be selected for a diplomatic mission to Tokyo, whose goal was to reinforce the ties between Quebec universities and Japan.
Before beginning her studies in law, Mélissa worked as a journalist and researcher for various media outlets.
