Woods hires two talented lawyers recently admitted to the Quebec Bar


Woods is very proud to announce the hiring of two lawyers recently admitted to the Quebec Bar. Emmanuelle Lanctôt and Jack Little are both embarking on a diversified careers in complex dispute resolution.

Emmanuelle is currently completing a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics while pursuing her legal career.  Passionate about public and private international law, she worked as a research student for Professor Daniel Turp during her studies at the Université de Montréal (UdeM). She also participated in the 2021 Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Law Moot Court Competition and won, with her team, Best Group (highest total score in the final round), Best Speaking Team, second place for UdeM Faculty of Law and third place for Best Brief. Jack graduated Summa Cum Laude from Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa. In addition to his academic abilities, Jack showed versatility through his extracurricular activities.  He served as a student law clerk to the Honourable Justice Claude Dallaire of the Quebec Superior Court, completed a legal internship at a major transportation company, and acted as a research assistant in the field of Municipal Law at the University of Ottawa. Jack was also a silver medallist at the Laskin Moot Court Competition in the Factums category. Learn more about Jack here.
