Marie-Pier joined the firm after having articled and worked in commercial and regulatory litigation for the Department of Justice Canada. Prior to her studies in civil law and common law at McGill University, she completed a bachelor’s degree in social sciences at the University of Ottawa.

During her university studies, Marie-Pier clerked at the Tribunal administratif du Québec, and did research on international economic development, ethics as well as the social impacts of illness. She also completed an internship in Washington D.C.
